Five El Dorado members worked with a USFS soils specialist to deactivate a road system adjacent to a fork of the Cosumnes. Work was expedited to protect a work area from pending rainstorms. The Service had employed large equipment to close and ditch the approach to a dispersed camping site on the bank of the river.. Woody debris and hay were scattered on the roadways to resist erosion.
